Am I wrong about my current view on religion as an former aspiring priest?

I am not going to state which religion, because I don't want comments or any kind discriminatory rhetoric; its simply not important. I use to be an aspiring priest but now I slowly grew away from it. It partly had to do with my current attendance in college, I am 21. I needed to focus on school instead of chasing priesthood at such a young age. I found that when we had religious gatherings, it was composed of people gossiping and such. I found that a significant amount of "religious" people erted themselves into everyone's life and various other occurances happen to make me this way. My current is that I still strongly believe in god and so forth just in the sanctity of my home. I don't attend much religious functions. I strongly against the prejudice against ity and abortion. Hmmm thats interesting. I've never heard of all siblings being called by their middle names. I go by my middle name. I have been cramping for the past few days... can someone please help?

My husband and I have been TTC for the past 2 1/2 years without any luck. I started my period Feb. 16. I am not expecting to start again until about the 19th (I have a 30-33 day cycle). We BD the first two days of March before he left for his ignment in California. I ovulate 14 days before my next period. I didn't chart my BBT this time because I have been sick on and off over the past two weeks and the OPK showed a LH surge on the 4th. The same day of the surge... I had the stretchy CM (which I found a little odd). The next day... I had twinges on mainly my left side (and occasionally on my right). And for the past few days I have been cramping quite a bit on my right side with some extra discharge. Yesterday at work I started to get real bad backaches (which happened in my first pregnancy before I got a positive but it ended in a miscarriage). I am curious as to what is going on. I have already ovulated and it's too soon for implantation cramps. Anyone experience this before?

Last night I accidentally forgot to close on window on my car, and it rained a lot. So my carpet's are really wet and so is my seat. Do you guys know of an effective way to dry it up? The carpet isn't stuck to the ground of the car, so I'm afraid there may be water underneath the carpet, and that it will become really moldy? Does this mean I should eventually replace the carpet?

This is a tough situation. I think this needs to be a situation of tough love. You need to let him know that it's you or drugs (he can have one or the other but not both) and he best decide quickly. God forbid that he ends up in the same situation you've experienced many family members go through. You've dealt with enough addiction in your life girl (you lost a father and that is more than any girl should have to go through). You AND he do not deserve to go down this path. Let him know that you love him and therefore you are doing this for the good of both of you. If he doesn't discontinue using drugs or you catch him using them behind your back, leave him; and don't look back.

I personally don't believe in organized religion and am a firm believer in Divine Evolution, the belief that God made everything and in His wisdom let it make its own choices and gave it the ability to evolve. Also, since I don't believe in organized religion, I have come to believe the multiple religions of our world are nothing more then the delusions of man since, and please research this, every religion has the exact same core morals and virtues for living as a good human. Clothing: NB size vs 0-3 month size help?

If you know how big your baby is estimated to be it would be a lot easier to figure this out. If the baby is on the small side - like around 6 lbs or less, you will need the basics in nb size (about 6-8 onesies, comfy sleepers, that sort of thing). If the babe is about 7 lbs or more, you should be able to get away with mostly 0-3 month clothing. They grow sooooo fast! Besides, no one is going to be following you around criticizing if his/her clothes are a little too big, right? Also it's winter time so bigger may be a little better for layering and such. You can always roll up sleeves and pantlegs to make them fit better too. Those first few weeks, you just want baby to be warm, cozy and comfy anyway. He doesn't need to be making a fashion statement. Just get some of the basics and don't stress. You'll probably be wrapping the little guy up in a blanket anyway. Good luck mommy and congrats!

I was afraid last night, because my mom run to me with tears in her eyes and hold her heart. The reason? She cant breath good. It started when she cough hard, the way my mom cough, u can really hear its hard. When she cough, she vomits and then this vomit stuck up her throat and went up to her nose and stuck up there. But thank God we keep maging and she get back to normal. The only thing she is complaining now, is her heart in pain and everytime she cough, her back hurt and the pain will run from the upper left of her back and then went down. She said, she feel it is like an octopus spitting their poison, thats how she describe the pain. But its just the left portion that affects it. She is complaining her left under arm hurt too. ok, so i'm trying to be healthier and to lose some more weight. i walk/jog 5 miles on the treadmill 6 times a week and do some light weight lifting as well. right now i'm about 5'9 and 155. i'm really wanting to lose like 20ish pounds and to mainly tone up. so i'm doing a week long juice fast to help jump start weight loss and help with some cravings. then i'll slowly start adding in fruit, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, protein, and some low-fat dairy. so my question is, how long do you think it will take me to lose the weight and tone up? i'm on day 3 of my juice fast and my sugar cravings are pretty much non-existent, but i'm still craving some bad carbs. should i fast longer than 1 week? after my fast should i only eat fruits and veggies for a while and then gradually add more food in? also, what are some good, healthy snacks to eat after my fast? i really like quaker rice cakes...are those healthy? also, i'm vegetarian, so what are some good protein sources besides beans and meat substitutes? thanks

My husband and I are Christians and we had before marriage. I don't think it was right, but I think it was unavoidable due to the cirstances. We dated for over 2 years trying to get my parent's permission to get married. We were both under a lot of stress and it wasn't like we planned to have (never in a bed or anything like that). It didn't happen until a year after we started dating and we really did love each other. I think pre-marital is usually a lust thing but sometimes it is love. We confessed and repented of our sins and I regret having done it, but God loves and us forgives us all our sins. He knows we aren't perfect and mistakes are inevitable and He makes the best of them. 15 pounds shouldn't be a problem, uming you can afford to lose it. What I do is first, drink a gl of water at least 30 minutes before every meal, and mix in an apple with each gl of water. That's right, 3 apples a day, 30 minutes before each meal, you'll be amazed how much this fills you up. As for meals, obviously avoid complex carbs, white bread, buns, that sort of stuff. Stick to eating easily digestible carbs, such as fruit and vegetables, they are also great for speeding up the metabolism, as is the excessive drinking of water. Now, that is only the diet, you also need to come up with a good work out. First off, running is going to be very important as are sit ups. Give yourself about 30 minutes every other day for a good jog, once you feel up to it you can start doing more and more jogging.

I'm 17 and just recently took the SAT and ACT for the first time. I got a 32 on the ACT (99th percentile) and a 2110 (760 math, 720 writing, 630 reading) on the SAT without studying at all. I will be a senior next year and got a 4.657 last semester, should I take either test again.

If the other side is good it should be ok. Check the other strut to see if oil is leaking out of it, if there is leakage i recommend rep placing both. I do highly recommend getting an alignment after putting on any new parts because it will change the angles of your tires which will damage them.

I called the number and they said they are this home finders and you have to pay $80 to be shown properties in your area and price range, then if you don't find one in 3 months, you get a refund. I know, its a cheery topic. For the last year, I have been struggling with depression. But here is what is odd, and what I wonder if anyone else can help me make sense of: I feel more depressed while and directly after I am around family, friends, or peers. By the time we part, I feel like crying. I have burned myself a few times and am afraid of creating a permanent habit. It doesn't seem to matter who I am around, it always makes me feel un-empowered, ugly, and overlooked. It always seems like people expect me to be a certain way or they withdraw all respect or kindness. It's like my life is theirs rather than mine. But the only time they notice me is when I take a step towards the edge of the box they have built for me. And in comparison to them, I am worthless- I have a bad personality, I am not attractive, and I have nothing to offer. The worst part of it is, I am a Christian. I started working at Dunkin' Donuts this summer, and I got a lot of hours but it was ok because I didn't have any other activities that could conflict with work. Windows Media Player messed up my library?

A few months ago, windows media player messed up my library. It retitled a lot of songs, put them in albums of other bands, changed some album covers to a different album's cover, etc. So basically it messed with every type of information of the songs. They have similarities, though, like in my Green Day album Nimrod, there were a lot of songs from Viva la Vida from Coldplay (the coldplay songs were retitled to the exact green day songs, like the song Viva la Vida was retitled to Reject, but the Reject song by green day is also in the album still). So yeah, it just messed with all the songs and stuff. I'd say my library is only 70% intact right now. I tried copying all of my music files, pasting them in a new location, deleting the old location, and adding the new location to windows media players list of places to take songs from. Didn't work, it just put them up the wrong way again. I just tried restoring the library, and at first I thought it was working because one Green Day album was coming out right, but then a few Coldplay songs were retitled to some of the songs in that Green Day album but they were labeled as a different album. With this one, two Coldplay songs were retitled to two songs in 39/smooth (green day), under the album title 39/smooth, while the actual green day songs from that album are under the album name 1,039/smoothed out slappy hours. So yeah, I don't get what's going on here. It's just jumbling little portions of albums and bands and titles and artwork and everything... How could it be changing the information on it's own like that? My library used to be completely fine.

Should I upgrade the ram in my setup?

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with a quad core and 2 gigs of ram @ 800 mhz - I am looking to upgrade to 4 gigs using a $100 giftcard I received from dell - I am aware of bus limitations on my board that could inhibit the ram from reaching 800 mhz (more like 667 mhz) - given this flaw in the dell mobo bios, is it worth it still to upgrade my setup to 4 gbs of ram? Which is better: 2 gigs @ 800 mhz or 4 gigs @ 667 mhz? Also, I am aware of the 32 vs 64 bit limitations wherein only 3.5 gigs will be recognized on my xp home os - however, if I were to upgrade to xp 64 pro, would this increase productivity as well? What type of dog should my fiance and I get (we can't agree)?

My fiance and I just bought a house and are looking at buying a dog after this winter (we live on a larger lot in Nebraska). Unfortunately we cannot agree on a dog...I want a great dane because I think they are gorgeous looking dogs that fit my more laid back lifestyle and his need to play style and he wants a boxer or lab because he doesn't like the lifespan of great danes and how large they are. I love their size and want a not so typical dog (and will be willing to take care of a larger dog). He doesn't prefer small or extra large dogs. I take your point in the nature that it was presented. There are a few scientists who spend more time in the criticism of the beliefs of others than in actual science. I am not very familiar with the work of Mr Dawkins, so I cannot comment on that specifically. However, it is also true that the vast majority of scientists labor in political silence. And if you seek a partisan agenda, surely you need look no further than Mr Stein, who insists on misinterpreting whatever few sentences of science text he has ever read. I suspect that there are rather blatant political mouthpieces on both sides of the political issue. The discussion that results has about as much to do with actual science as it has to do with actual religion. The only real problems occur when one side attempts to speak for the other, i.e. by forcing scientists to teach about creationism or by forcing churches to teach about evolution. Neither of these political positions makes any sense. Each discipline should be able to stand on its own merits and see what results in terms of an active following, without descending into doentaries and name calling - which just inspires opposing doentaries and name calling.

How loud is it living near train tracks?

We have found a house we really like, but it is a couple of blocks away from a UP main line with houses in between. There is no schedule for the freight, and Amtrak also uses the tracks, but I'm not sure how often it runs. It's right near an intersection, so the trains will have to sound the horn. How loud is this going to be? I realize we would likely get used to it, but will we curse ourselves every time a train goes by and have to wait for it to p to finish our conversation?

Could someone identify this shrub?

I found a shrub growing on the shore of a pond/lake (not very big) in northwest Montana. The fruit is a shiny black, almost looking like huckleberries. The leaves are shiny green, but were turning a brilliant yellow. The shrub was about 4 1/2 feet high with grey/brown bark on the twigs. It is deciduous. I think it is an Alder Leaf Hawthorn, but I cannot find any reference to this shrub name, nor can I find any photos that remotely look like this. Based on what I have read, black fruited Hawthorn grow in Europe, not the US as a native species, so this could have just "wound up" there, but it was fairly remote. It is not a high bush huckleberry because the leaves are far too big. The leaves are about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long and 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide in the center. Thanks.

Should I fight even though im half blind?

For a few years now i have been legally blind in one of my eyes. I cannot see things in the middle of that eye but i still can see everything around it. Its like a blotch in the middle of my eye. My other eye has perfect vision. On thop of that when both eyes are open i can even tell there is a problem. The only time i notice the blotch is if my other eye is closed. I am finding increasing situations where tip cups are being left at take-out counters and at cash registers. When I asked why a tip cup was at the register I was told the cashier expected a tip. PLEASE! Why should a customer pay a tip for an employee who places the take-out in the styrofoam containers and nothing else for me. When I pay a tip to a server in a restaurant, I am rewarding the efforts made to keep my drink fresh and table cleared. If business owners now expect me to tip their cooks and cashiers, I want to see compensatory lowering of their prices instead of them going higher. Has anyone had a negative experience with Vitex?

My husband and I have been TTC #1 since June of this year. I stopped bc pills in April. I have never had irregular cycles. I suspected that maybe I had a leutal phase defect after a few months of trying with no result. We would never bd the week before my period because I figured I had already ovulated. So after my period in July we tried OPKs. What I thought was confirmed, I was ovulating the one week were we were not bding. Anyhow, in August my period was four days late. We got really excited but I never had a postive HPT. I was also taking an antibiotic for a UTI. The day I stopped the antibiotic, my period started. It was extremely painful and localized to my right side. I was concvinced I had an eptopic pregnancy and went to the ER. They confirmed that I was definately not pregnant and said that it was probably a cyst that had burst on my ovary ( I am 22 and had never had a cyst before). My usual cycles are 28-29 days long. My SIL suggested that I take vitex in order to lengthen my leutal phase. I started the vitex on September 6 (LMP was on August 24th.). Then I started my period a day early. That peroid was very painful and I ped a lot of clots. I ped more clots than blood in that cycle. I had been taking the liquid form of vitex. The next month I used the capsul form of vitex. I thought for sure that we were finally pregnant last cycle. I had been charting my BBT temps for a few months at the time and my temps were above the cover line for 18 days. My period was four days late. I was tired all the time, dizzy, VERY bloated, frequent urinating. All the tests I took came up negative. When my period did start, it was very painful again. The pain was on my right side (where my ovary is) and in my lower back on the right side. This time, I saw a blood clot with tissue maybe once this cycle. I am pretty sure it was a corpus leutem cyst. I decided to stop the vitex this month. I am afraid I have ovulated later this time around, but I decided to track my cervical fluid and position this cycle. Anyway, I know this long and TMI but my question is, has anyone had a negative experience with vitex?
