I had a bamboo plant that i kept inside during winter then it became hot so i put it in my pond.?

I had a bamboo plant that i kept inside during winter then it became hot so i put it in my pond. Now that I look at it, the top sides of it (its 3 curly stick things) are all white or light yellow, but the bottom sides are nice and green. My best guess is its from the sun being too hot (Michigan, about 75 deg.) Now do i keep it out side or bring it back in? (theres no good shady spot for it in my pond)
