Where in the uk, preferable midlands area, can i get away to on my own for a few days?

somewhere in the Peak District or in the Pennines might suit you ... camping is fairly cheap (but maybe not very comfortable at this time of year) ... youth hostels are also quite cheap, try looking at the YHA a href="https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/peak-district-sherwood/index.aspx" rel="nofollow"https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodatio…/a where although you might not be on your own at the hostel but you could take yourself off for a walk in some lovely countryside during the day
