Why do women wear uggs?

I have nothing against them i'm just wondering why do women like to wear ugly looking shoes. For me, its a complete turnoff b/c i just think women who wear them are slutty. Do women wear them to attract men? well rest ured you won't be attracting any "nice" guys with those things on, all my "nice" friends think they look hideous! Only the bad boys who want would go after a girl with those things on, thats a fact!!!
