Is Global Warming a bigger threat than Global Terror?

It is a well known fact that during the height of the Cold War, the Leftist Anti-American Media started to push the idea of "Global Cooling" and the onset of a new mini ice age. Now, with America in a pitched battle with Islamic Terrorists, "Global Warming" is the new diversion. Do they really think Global Warming is a greater threat or do they just hope that with the imposing of Sharia Law, the economies of the Western World will collapse and that will "fix" Global Warming.
