Your recommendations for good movies, books, and music to go along with my current tastes?

I am looking for stuff that is kind of weird, indie. Introspective. Intelligent. A bit artsy. A breath of fresh air. Any genre of books is welcome. But please no hip hop. Any genre of movie would do, also. Some of my favorites are Fight Club, Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, the Matrix, LOTR....and books....A Great and Terrible Beauty, harry potter, catcher in the rye....music....bright eyes, snow patrol, coldplay
